The bases are designed and manufactured by the Polish company TBME (Two Brothers Military Engineering), which uses high‑class DMG‑Mori CNC machines in its production.

TBME plates are dedicated to pistols that are factory‑prepared (or modified by a gunsmith) for direct red dot installation on the slide.

The bases are made of 7075‑T6 aircraft‑grade aluminum, making them extremely durable and exceptionally lightweight (depending on the model approx. 8 g). The plate is finished using a hard‑anodizing process compliant with military specification (MIL‑SPEC), which increases resistance to scratches and wear. Anodizing strengthens the aluminum surface and protects it from oxidation. TBME mounting plates stand out not only for their durable finish and perfect fit to the firearm, but also for enabling an extremely low optic mounting position. Thanks to the use of precision measuring probes, the plates are manufactured with perfect dimensions and matched precisely to the factory slide cut. To ensure stable and reliable optic mounting, the plate features a system of steel interchangeable inserts “Quad Lock”, allowing the use of screws with strong multi‑thread engagement (excluding dovetail‑mounted models). The set includes all components necessary for mounting the red dot on the firearm: four of the strongest A4‑class stainless steel Torx screws on the market, a tube of thread locker, and a mounting manual.

For installation of the plate and optic, it is recommended to use a medium‑strength thread locker (included) and a torque wrench set to 1.2 Nm. Before final installation, it is advisable to test‑fit the complete plate (with threaded inserts) and the optic without glue. This ensures that the plate is perfectly matched to both the firearm and the optic.
